You fill out your information once. Mentor Match is open to everyone. The Leadership Bench is a separate, invitation-based program you unlock by completing LIFE, MIT, or CFT. Here's what each one does with your profile.

Interested in the Leadership Bench but don't qualify yet? Completing the LIFE Program puts you on the Bench. It's the most direct way to get in front of hiring managers and recruiters for leadership roles.

Do you qualify for the Bench?

Mentor Match is open to everyone, so you can skip this if that's all you're after. The Leadership Bench is invitation-based. You qualify if any one of these is true:

LIFE

You completed the LIFE Program

You've graduated from Leadership Immersion for Excellence.

MIT

You completed MIT

You've finished the Manager-in-Training program.

CFT

You're a Certified Field Trainer

You've completed all continuing education and are in good program standing.

None of these yet? That's fine, you can still join Mentor Match today. And completing the LIFE Program is the most direct path onto the Bench.

Getting started

From sign-up to started in five steps

The whole thing takes a few minutes. Two spots trip people up, so we've called them out below.

Create your account

Use your Westgate email address. It takes about a minute.

Check your email and click the activation link

Your account stays inactive until you click the link in that email. Once you do, you're ready to log in.

This is the step people miss most. The activation email sometimes lands in your junk or spam folder. If it's not in your inbox in a few minutes, check there.

Log in and complete your profile

You'll go straight to your profile page. A few fields are required before you can start, so you'll land here each time you log in until it's complete. It's not a glitch, just fill them in once and you're set.

Choose your programs

Turn on Mentor Match, the Leadership Bench, or both. Each one adds a few quick questions. Choosing both is normal and encouraged, as long as you're eligible for the Bench.

Start using them

Mentor Match works right away. Leadership Bench profiles go to L&D for review first, and you'll get an email when yours is approved, usually within 2–3 business days.

No. One account, one profile, and you choose which programs to join. You fill out your shared information once and it covers both.
Yes, and plenty of people should, as long as you're eligible for the Leadership Bench. Mentor Match is open to everyone. The Bench is for LIFE graduates, MIT graduates, and Certified Field Trainers.
You qualify if you've completed the LIFE Program, completed MIT, or are a Certified Field Trainer in good standing. If you're not there yet, completing LIFE is the most direct path onto the Bench.
Yes. The Bench is visible to leaders across Westgate. Being listed reflects Westgate's investment in your development, not an intent to leave your current role. It's a signal that you're growing, and it's how opportunities find you.
Usually 2–3 business days. L&D reviews each profile before it goes live, and you'll get an email the moment yours is approved.
Yes. Flip the toggle off anytime. Your profile stays intact, so you can turn a program back on later without re-entering anything.
Only people you've connected with. On the Bench, that's hiring leaders who click Reach Out on your profile. In Mentor Match, that's your connections after you mutually match. It's never shown publicly.
Check your junk or spam folder first, that's where it usually hides. If it's still not there after a few minutes, reach out to L&D at learn@westgateresorts.com and we'll get you activated.
