We are excited to introduce TalentGuard, a talent development platform designed to empower Westgate leaders to assess their skills, track their development goals, and align their career trajectory with upcoming opportunities within the organization. TalentGuard is here to support your journey toward achieving your professional goals.

about the program

TalentGuard is a talent development workforce intelligence platform that helps Team Members assess their skills, track development goals, and align their career paths with internal opportunities for growth and advancement. 

  1. When hired or promoted into a leadership position (Assistant Manager to VP) at Resorts, Corporate FF&E, Talent Acquisition, Development, Facilities, Cabinetry, Purchasing, and Logistics, Team Members will receive a “Welcome to TalentGuard” email. 
  2. Participants will be invited to complete the following two courses and submit their talent assessment within 90 days of hire/promotion:

Westgate Resorts will begin the adoption of TalentGuard with Team Members in leadership roles (ranging from assistant manager to General Manager) at resort locations and the corporate Talent Acquisition, FF&E, Development, Facilities Maintenance, Cabinetry, Purchasing, and Logistics teams. 

Participants are invited to log-in to TalentGuard using their email as the username at https://westgateresorts.talentguard.com/

All participants from Assistant Manager to General Manager will self-assess their skills using Westgate’s 12 leadership competencies. Their direct leaders will review these assessments, partner with them to create a growth and development plan, and then submit the results into the TalentGuard system. 

After the initial review period, participants will have access to add and update progress on development goals.

Currently, TalentGuard is accessible via web browsers on both desktop and mobile devices. We recommend using a desktop or laptop computer for the best user navigation experience.

Participants are able to continuously access TalentGuard to track development goals and update their progress on growing leadership competencies. Once per quarter, a specific review period will be identified. 

As the TalentGuard platforms evolve, additional technical skills will be added to your Talent Assessment based on your job role. This data will help form your talent pool profile, which can help show you advancement opportunities and enhance your career growth at Westgate.
